Daria Spiridonova

Born in Russia, Daria studied in Moscow, then furthered her education in Germany and Italy. Having won one of the main prizes at the Biber Competition in Austria in 2019, she entered the baroque scene, becoming a participant in such festivals as Oude Muziek Utrecht in the Netherlands and Trigonale in Austria with her solo projects;

Innsbrucker Festwochen, Fel!x in Cologne, Resonanzen in Vienna, Telemann Festtage Magdeburg and many others with her chamber ensemble Tra Noi, as well as a guest musician in numerous ensembles in Europe, giving an average of about 50 concerts per year including original solo projects. Daria is the winner of numerous prizes at competitions. She plays one of the Willem van der Sijde violin (1694) provided by the Jumpstart foundation (Amsterdam). In 2024, her first solo CD "Songs From There" with arrangements of folk songs from around the world for solo violin was released by Challenge Classics.
